Congratulations on a successful Month 1 of Spindle Nutrition! I hope you feel that you have discovered some new things about yourself thus far. Now it's time to take some action!

One of the biggest things everyone asks about is macronutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins). While having the right balance of these macronutrients is important, it’s not the first thing that we should be concerned with. The problem, however, is that, if we remain so focused on the amount of protein, carbohydrate and fat that we’re consuming each day, we then lose track of our ability to gauge overall good habits.

This month, I am going to work on teaching you what types of foods to eat. When we eat the right foods, the macronutrients usually fall into place relatively well. That doesn't mean that we might not need to go back and tweak things later on, but focusing on general foods that are good to eat is a better way of kicking things off. Let’s not let ourselves get bogged down in details that ultimately become very overwhelming.

Today, be as good as you can about what we have already worked on and your food log. Tomorrow, we will talk a little bit more about some actions you can take this week!
