What did you discover about how your body and mind felt before eating yesterday? Hopefully, you were able to tune into how things were feeling with a nonjudgmental attitude.
Today, we're going to focus on what your body feels like during and after you eat. Again, we are just bringing awareness to how your body feels and focusing less on actually making the changes right now.
While you're eating, do you recognize the point in time at which you are full? Do you continue to eat until all the food on your plate is gone? After you eat, how does your body feel? Do you feel very full? Not hungry anymore, but not necessarily full? Do you continue to get more full in the few minutes to half hour after you eat? Today, bring awareness to these feelings just as you did yesterday before you ate. Write things down if it helps and come back tomorrow.
